My Yoga Vision and Inspiration
My style of yoga is to immerse students into the present moment through the body, breath, and feeling tone of energy that they are experiencing within. This practice brings us into the miraculous potential of experiencing ourselves fully and wholeheartedly. I bring attention to the breath repeatedly, gently reminding students to allow attention to remain focused on the body-mind-breath feeling.
This is combined with reminding students that we are here for each other, this is a community where we support each other through love and compassion.
Utilizing vinyasa, power yoga, and hatha variations, I bring a unique combination of sequencing to class. I love to teach movement along with stillness while cultivating strength and sweetness within each posture and breath. Using pranayama brings a synergy with movement, allowing energy to cultivate and release physically, mentally and at times emotionally. Most importantly, I cultivate light-heartedness.
Through my experience and passion for yoga, I've found that each person contains infinite potential for transformation in their life. Practice on the mat equals our practice off the mat out in life. We each contain the seeds within us that we wish to grow. Through intuitive awareness, and listening to our inner guru (teacher), we find everything we've been searching for all along was within, waiting to bloom out into the world.
